It's about 6 km round trip with 625 m of elevation gain, taking around 4 hours of actual hiking (about 5 with breaks, summit, and rest). The trail starts through a native forest, among quillay, litre, and boldo trees, and climbs steadily; the final section is the steepest, with some scrambling sections to reach the summit. At the top, you have a panoramic view of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. The descent is via the same route.
