It's a challenging full-day trek: 2.738 m altitude, approximately 18 km, and 1.800 m elevation gain, taking about 10 hours to hike. There are no technical sections, but it requires good physical condition and some trekking experience due to the length and elevation gain. The guide adjusts the pace and manages the breaks.
A full-day group outing to hike one of Santiago's most classic treks. You'll be guided, in a small group, and at a pace everyone can keep up with, without having to organize anything.

Go up to Provincia as a group and without organizing anything
A challenging route that will make you feel like you're leveling up.

This is the group version of the Cerro Provincia trek: a fixed date each month, a small group, and everything taken care of so you only have to worry about hiking. It's one of the most comprehensive treks near the city, long and with significant elevation gain, so it's best enjoyed when you're with someone who knows the route well.
We'll pick you up at a meeting point in Santiago, we'll climb together at a steady pace, and at the top, you'll be rewarded with a panoramic view of the capital city with the Andes Mountains in front of you. Many people arrive alone and come down with new friends. And if you prefer your own date or a private trip, we can arrange that for you too.

📅 What is the best time to upload it?
Spring and autumn are ideal for weather and views. In summer, it's best to leave early due to the heat and sun exposure. In winter, there may be snow at higher elevations, and conditions change to mountainous terrain.
-
⛰️ Is it possible to climb without a guide?
It's a long and demanding route, easy to underestimate due to its length and elevation gain. Going with a guide ensures a steady pace, hydration, and safety, and frees you from the logistics. That's why we offer it as a guided tour, either private or in a group.
