Cerro Provincia is a must in Santiago, with spectacular views over the capital city. It is the most northerly peak in the Sierra del San Ramon. An accessible hill, with strong physical demand.

The hill of Provincia is easily accessible from Santiago, and it embarks on a parallel world of disconnection from the urban and complete connection with the indigenous ecosystem of central Chile. The tour starts in Puente Ñilhue Park, in the Lo Barnechea district, only 30 minutes from downtown Santiago. Along a green and wooded path that then turns into a classic pre-Andean landscape; rocky and sandy Along the way, we will appreciate native birds such as condors and caranchos, and native flora such as peumos, quillay, boldos, and arrayanes.

Provincia hill is very demanding, so you need to be physically fit. The distance to the peak is 9 kilometers with a slope of 1700 meters. This is a physically challenging hill and especially great for training for bigger hills like Leonera, Plomo, or San Jose.

BEST TREKKING GROUP Javiera & Vicente are great guides, I've been in a couple of tours and they are just responsible, being with the whole group during the journey, they just care about my experience at mountain, since you apply they make sure you are capable of that tour meanwhile just you need to be follow their leads, Javiera & Vicente are both certified to be at mountains, I've been trekking here at Chile since 2018 and Puma Adventures I would say is the best group, they care about safety, if you do not wanna go with group they offer private tour with is dope, that's why I am giving them 5 stars review, if you want to choose a group, Puma Adventures is best option.

Cerros El Plomo and Leoneras with Puma Adventures Here is a view of the Leoneras hills (4.954 meters above sea level) and El Plomo (5.424 meters above sea level), from the Ovnipuerto.
