This is one of Santiago's most accessible mountains, but no less significant for that. Hiking to its summit offers a pause in the city, a reconnection with movement, the essential, and the high. Ideal for those looking for a short, meaningful experience.

Manquehuito: Connect with the mountains without leaving Santiago

A short, accessible trek with a privileged view of the city.

trekking manquehuito santiago 03

Manquehuito Hill is an unexpected corner in the middle of Santiago. Smaller than its neighbor, Manquehue, but with its own energy, native biodiversity, and trails that invite you to wander slowly. Climbing it is an active break: a natural respite in the heart of the city.

Its access is easy, making it ideal for all ages. Along the way, you'll be greeted by the scents of the sclerophyllous forest, open views, and, if you're lucky, a local bird. The summit offers a stunning panorama that reconciles body and mind: between land, city, and sky.
